There was a big difference of the city states when the Persian wars occurred. If the city states of Greece didn't win, the Greeks would not have been united. Also, the Greeks would have lost of their great leaders and Greek warriors.
- Sparta and Athens started the Peloponnesian Wars because they were competing for commercial interests. Sparta's perspective on the war was that they thought that they had the stronger army. Athens' perspective on the war was that they could hide behind the walls because they had a strong navy that could bring supplies.
- The outcome of the war was that Sparta won the Peloponnesian wars. The impact on Sparta winning the war was that Sparta tore down the walls of Athens, destroyed their democracy and created an oligarchy, and they killed off many people in Athens.
