Our legacy was warfare. Warfare was helpful in Ancient Greece because it helped the Greeks earn more land and power for the city states. Greek art was displayed in many different places like pottery, sculptures, paintings, and buildings. People either revamp types of Greek art and make it their own, or see different types of Greek art in museums today. Warfare also impacted the United States because the Greeks invented armor and our army still uses armor today. Armor back in Ancient Greece was metal and very delicate. Now armor is hard and rough, so it can protect soldiers today. Art also impacted the United States because Greek sculptures and art are still being used today. Greek Art was mostly pictures of gods, and some other things related to Ancient Greece. People today still make Greek Art to do various things. These legacies were very important to the United States and later civilizations after Ancient Greece.
